Unboxing: Purple Cork Bow Tie From Brainbows Belgium - by Mr. Bow Tie
We received an amazing unboxing and review of our Purple Haze Hipbow, by the wonderful Mr. Bow Tie himself!
On top of all the LEGO® bow ties he creates himself, he also buys and wears unusual and funky bow ties. He wanted to add one of our cork bow ties to his personal collection, and since he loves purple it wasn't a hard choice to make.
On top of that, he featured Brainbows in his article about handmade bow tie creators in Europe. If you haven’t read that yet, do check it out later!
He writes:
"The packaging was really nice with black paper covering everything and upon removing it I found also some sweets, a custom coaster and 2 booklets with existing and new collections. Will definitely be using that coaster.
Now on to the bow tie. I was not sure what to expect from cork as a material. My knowledge of cork comes from wine bottles or some surfaces in offices or conference / workshop rooms. So I expected the bow tie to be rigid and inflexible. Boy was I off on this one. The bow tie is surprisingly light and the material feels delicate without feeling fragile. Also, way smoother than what I know of cork."
